Michel Garcia has been active in Taekwondo from an early age, but then went professional in Full-contact. His experience in fist and leg combined fighting lead him to Free Fight and after several training periods at clubs in the United States and Canada he was ready for the professional career. He is the winner of the Lutta-Mora in 2002 and 2003 and in 2004 he decided to fight for Ian Freeman (UFC Professional in Las Vegas) and participated in two Pride&Glory events in the United Kingdom and won the last one with a KO (slam in 1min 10s). Ian Freeman proposed him to the Pride and Glory 4 in December 2004.
